I’ve been working on moving this blog to a container, not the first attempt I make, It went a little unplanned the first time, I didn’t take any precautions and I did on the live instance, I didn’t have that much traffic then, so it was sort of fine, not this time, I have another instance.
The other instance is
It’s running on IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) in Azure :
- Ubuntu 16.04
- Docker 1.13
- 2 Containers, one with MySQL and the other with WordPress as shown in the picture below:
As I’m still getting familiar with the way Docker works, I still have to:
Map the address to https:// as my default .Done, using a Let’s Encrypt Certificate.
I’ll get there. I got there 😀
I installed Oh My Zsh – https://github.com/robbyrussell/oh-my-zsh to modify the looks and do heaps of stuff from zsh directly
This blog so far has run on:
- Azure Web Apps
- And now containers
So, I do have another instance of this blog running on Containers
